WALSH-003 113 NY-SC-9JD-WALSH III General Rules All counsel appearing before the ECP must be familiar with the case and fully authorized to enter agreements on behalf of clients. Settlements must be reported immediately by letter with a signed stipulation of discontinuance. Fax accepted only for settlement/adjournment letters; originals must be mailed. Ex parte communications strictly prohibited except for scheduling, OSC signature, or consent. Represented parties may not contact court staff. E-filing required through NYSCEF per 22 NYCRR 202.5 and 202.5-bb.
