WALSH-001 113 NY-SC-9JD-WALSH I Criteria for Selection to Environmental Claims Part The Environmental Claims Part ('ECP') may hear and determine disputes and controversies where the predominant claims involve the adjudication of potential impacts to the environment, including but not limited to impacts to land, air, water, traffic, minerals, natural resources, forest management, flora, fauna, noise, patterns of population concentrations, and human health. Suitable actions include: determinations under environmental laws (SEQRA, ECL, Urban Renewal Law, Eminent Domain, Historic Preservation, Coastal Erosion); determinations by local legislative bodies, planning boards, wetland boards (zoning, subdivision, site plan, excavation permits); determinations of local zoning boards of appeals; regulatory takings and constitutional claims; NYC Watershed Rules matters; and hazardous/toxic substance remediation and civil enforcement.
