SALL-006 123 NY-SUR-9JD-SALL II-H-I Settlement Conferences and Pre-Trial Conferences At settlement conference, all counsel must be present with full authority to negotiate and settle. All parties either present or available by telephone. Pre-Trial Conference: upon completion of discovery, petitioner files note of issue, certificate of readiness, and statement of issues per 22 NYCRR §207.29. Court schedules pretrial conference for marking exhibits and resolving outstanding issues. Each attorney provides numbered exhibit list in Word format; each entry describes exhibit and includes page count. Two columns: 'ID Only' and 'Evidence'. Counsel must bring copy of each proposed exhibit for each appearing party and two copies for court.
