Requests to extend the note of issue deadline will be granted only upon good cause. To request an extension, parties may: (i) submit a stipulation; (ii) submit a letter setting forth why discovery could not be completed and the shortest possible time needed; or (iii) request a discovery conference prior to the deadline. Summary judgment shall be filed within 120 days of the filing of the note of issue, unless otherwise directed. On summary judgment, the parties shall file a statement of material facts and any response thereto in compliance with 22 NYCRR 202.8-g.
