Marx, J.S.C. 158 NY-SC-9JD-MARX III.A Motions - General Rules Written applications by Notice of Motion must be made returnable on any Wednesday the Court is in session. Motion papers are limited to Moving Papers, Opposing Papers, and Reply; reply papers are not permitted on Orders to Show Cause without advance permission; no Reply to a Cross Motion. Sur-Reply papers are not permitted. There will be no oral argument on any motion unless directed by the Court. Plaintiffs shall designate exhibits by number, defendants by letter. Multiple documents shall not be grouped under a single exhibit.
